(under the supervision of Kimberly Williams,

LPC-S)

She is a dedicated counselor with a diverse clinical background and a strong academic foundation. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and her master’s degree in counseling from the University of North Texas. Kim is extensively trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Her clinical interests include depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, life transitions, grief, trauma, and supporting adolescents and emerging adults. She also has experience facilitating both individual and group psychoeducational services for individuals on probation, covering topics such as anger management, life skills, theft diversion, and financial literacy. What Kim values most about being a therapist is the privilege of walking alongside clients on their journey toward healing and personal growth. She strives to create a safe, compassionate, and collaborative space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change. Witnessing her clients’ resilience and progress is one of the most rewarding aspects of her work. Outside of counseling, Kim enjoys spending time with family and friends and has a passion for photography, appreciating its ability to capture both life’s meaningful milestones and everyday moments. In her free time, she also enjoys reading, taking walks, painting, playing video games, and watching sitcoms. Kim believes that embracing balance, authenticity, and genuine human connection enriches both her personal life and her work as a counselor.
