Dr. Irwin Schussler, DO, FACN, FAPA, is a distinguished psychiatrist with a profound dedication to mental health care. His educational journey began at Brooklyn College at the University of the City of New York, followed by the Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his general psychiatry residency and a fellowship in child psychiatry at the University of Florida College of Medicine.
Dr. Schussler is double board certified in Psychiatry and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry, demonstrating his deep commitment to both fields. He is recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Neurologists and Psychiatrists, as well as the American Psychiatric Association, underscoring his respected standing in the medical community. Previously, he served as the Medical Director and President of the Psychiatric Pavilion at the Osteopathic Medical Center of Fort Worth, where he led significant advancements in psychiatric care.
Currently, at Prime Psychiatry, Dr. Schussler focuses on psychotherapy combined with medication management, tailoring his approach to meet the unique needs of each patient.
