Dean Cochran, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a compassionate and highly skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a diverse background in healthcare. He completed his undergraduate studies at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX, and pursued his Master's degree at The University of Texas at Arlington. Dean's professional journey began with a decade of service in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, where he gained invaluable experience in various specialized units, including Cardiovascular, Neurological, Neonatal ICUs, and occasional shifts in the ER.
As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Dean focuses on working with adolescents and adults aged 15-65, conducting comprehensive mental health evaluations and employing a combination of medication management and therapeutic approaches rooted in cognitive-behavioral principles. His approach to mental health is characterized by empathy, respect, kindness, and understanding.
